So things have quietened down since the October Hobbycon, but I expect them to pick up again leading into Card Market Christchurch at the end of November. Despite us plummeting our buy price on bulk, and despite us not trying to pick them up from folders when we are in person, we've still ended up with something like 8,000 bulk rares for us to grade and add to the store. It's low priority, and any collections that come in definitely take precedence, but while it's quiet, you'll see bits of bobs of those bulk rares go into the store.
Thank you to those who participated in our sale; we got our GST bill paid <3. Got some extra funds too for paying off debt, but lately it seems that whenever we might have money for that, a collection comes in, and we need to pay cash on. Not a bad thing, but funny how often it's happened in the last couple of months XD
On the topic of sales, the timing doesn't work for us for Black Friday this year for us to run our regular sale, so we will be doing an end-of-year sale in December instead.
The Switch 2 Ocarina of Time comes out this week, and I am beyond excited. That game was my childhood. It makes me want to spend money I don't have and can't afford on a Switch 2 to play it. I guess until someone else can lend me a copy with a switch 2 I'll have to live vicariously through streamers.
Anyways, that's all from me. I'm sunburnt all over, so I'm going to try and rest and deal with the pain the best I can when I wake up. :)
