Hi All,
Firstly, I just wish to announce that David and I have decided that we won't be at the Card Show Christchurch this year (though we plan to be in future years). The reason is that while we could afford the vendor's table, we would likely have no money to purchase cards at the event. In which case, we would prefer to take the money we would have spent on a table there and instead put it towards having funds to purchase cards at other events. Like our upcoming Dunedin Trip in July. Apologies to those looking forward to seeing us there, but it is what it is.
In other news, we are into new Strixhaven Spoilers! Lots of exciting new cards, but I just can't find myself getting excited about a thinly veiled Universes Beyond - Harry Potter set. Especially after seeing Ral Zarek as the new 'Defence against the Dark Arts' teacher. So sorry, but this set just isn't for me flavourfully. Mechanically, I look forward to drafting it, and on flavour, I do enjoy the Chinese representation, though hopefully it's not just literally Hellicopter Parents like last time, there is so much to explore with a Chinese character beyond that :)
Life is still stressful, but it's getting better, which is all I can ask for, I guess :)
