I am back from my trip, and have a bunch of new cards. Everything is away in the store now, and covers about the first 10 pages of our Latest Arrivals section https://magicatwillis.co.nz/collections/latest-arrivals . About 80% of what was picked up are various reserved list cards, but there are some Commander staples and Strixhaven cards mixed in.
David did a great job of looking after the store while I was away, making sure all your orders got shipped and your questions answered.
Modern Horizons 2 comes out next Friday and we have a case ready to open and sort into the store for you. As per usual we are offering a 20% buylist bonus on all Modern Horizons 2 cards until midnight 28th of June. That bonus will be added manually on our end, so don't worry if it doesn't show up on the website.
I am really excited for Modern Horizons 2. So many new cards and decks to explore, both in eternal formats, Modern/Legacy/Vintage and in Commander too. I've been following the Modern metagame as events happen and I'm really excited to play some Modern soon.
Of course on top of that there are a lot of mechanics and references from my years of playing (20 constant years now), which all make me very happy.
How are you all finding this set? Have you enjoyed getting your hands on it this past weekend? Are you looking forward to brewing? I'd love to hear all your opinions.
