So, to start with, a bit of news. We've applied to be a part of the Auckland Card Show on December 6th. It's our first time doing an event like this, and I'm feeling nervous about it, but hoping it will all go smoothly <3 I look forward to actually meeting some of our Auckland and North Island-based customers.
But first we have to sort flights and pay for our table at the event, and a number of other experiences with getting ready, and money is just being a bit tight on that right now, sadly :(
We are hoping, at the very least, to have the tables paid for by Wednesday. One thing that I'm suspecting might relate somewhat to our slower sales, you may have noticed we've been having issues with a couple of our collections. Standard Singles and Latest Arrivals in particular. The long and the short of it is that we use a custom collection builder app to give us more diversity in what we can offer in our collections, and hopefully make it easier for all of you visiting the store as a result.
We recently had to update that app, and in doing so, a number of collections associated with that app all broke. The Standard collection seems to be all up and working again. We've had trouble with the Latest Arrivals collection deleting items from its collection only a few days after they've gone in. Things look like they are sorting themselves out now, but if I'm being honest, I'm still holding my breath.
Anyway, those are the updates on my mind right at this minute, hopefully we'll be in a better position and have more details for you with my next post in 2 weeks.
