You would think that being away for 2 months would restore my brain with all sorts of ideas the write about. Instead though its done the complete opposite and I'm finding ideas harder and harder.
Lets talk about this week. We've had a bunch of buylists come in (which is great, keep them coming), but this means that we have an ever growing pile of cards on the table that we will add to the store "once we've processed this last buylist" haha.
I was going through our foils, cleaning them up, moving some which haven't sold etc... etc... but what I found was a pile of errors that have persuaded me to do a check over the rest of our stock. I'm not very far in at this point (2XM sorting alphabetically) but I'll be working through this over the next few weeks, seeing what errors have occurred over the last couple of years. In the 2 double masters sections, the main problems I've found are cards in each others sets, which is understandable, they are very similar set symbols. But there's also been cases of cards (like Cavern of Souls, and Walking Ballista) that are in our boxes but weren't on the website.
As far as Lord of the Rings goes, I've mostly avoided the set so far, everything has way too much text on it and I get new set fatigue. Figuring it would be on Magic Online I'd figure I'd never really draft it and probably only needed to know what cards do when either I trade for them or someone plays them against me. I just found out however, that the set is coming to Arena so I will get to draft it a lot, so that's cool.
