Buckle in, this is going to be one of the longer posts covering a pile of updates.
Firstly, as you may or may not have seen on our Facebook page by now we have had some price updates. The biggest of which is moving from Mid price to Market price. In the grand scheme of things, standard and modern cards will, on average, be similar prices, the big change here, and the reason we did it, is because as we get more old school cards in stock (Particularly ABU) we want our prices to be more stable and reflect what is a reasonable selling price, rather than whatever the one guy who has it listed on TCG player thinks it's worth. So hopefully more of our Old School cards will now have more stable, more reasonable prices for those looking to buy cards in that area.
There have been some other minor changes including a couple of small updates to our buylist. There it has been where we draw our price margins in different categories, but again, I'm hoping that overall you wont see much of a difference there.
Next up is Black Friday. We will be having a Black Friday sale. It will be 20% off all foils in our "In Stock Foils" collection. I should have that updated in time (it is not remotely updated currently :P ). If everything is accurate it should contain all foils on the website EXCEPT those for Brothers War. Brothers War foils will not be included in the sale.
Speaking of Brothers War. WPN stores are allowed to sell singles on Prerelease Weekend (which honestly, running prerelease and organizing new singles sounds like a complete nightmare). While we will get our product then, we will not be listing it until Release weekend as we are not a WPN store. In particular WPN stores require play space for people to come in and play, and given that we run the singles buisness out of our house, play space is not something we have.
Lastly for those wondering about cards picked up from Down South. We have about 3000 cards to go, which at this point are mostly the cards from the 30K collection.
After we get through those, there'll also be about 2000 commons and uncommons to come in as well. It's taking time, but slowly and surely we are getting there :).
In the pile of 30K collection cards we still have to sort includes (among a lot of other cards) 3 Vesuvan Doppelgangers and 2 Copy Artifacts. So plenty of exciting cards still to come.
