Thank you to all who participated in our early black friday sale this past week and a bit. I've had a couple of people ask me now if we are selling out or going under. I can confirm neither of these is true. We just needed a bit of a cash injection to pay some bills, and you all helped out wonderfully. We are all up to date :)
What had happened was 2-fold. Firstly, we'd made the impulse decision to attend the Card Market in Auckland, which we are looking forward to, but it was a bit tight on our budget considering how much time we had. The second is that we had purchased some dual lands, and those were tied up in a trade, leaving us having spent the cash on them, but not having anything to show for it. Both of these, combined with slow weeks, firstly from the release of Riftbound, and secondly, our weeks leading up to prereleases tend to be rather slow. We decided to bring our Black Friday sale forward a couple of weeks to cover the $2-3K pile of emergency expenses we had.
I hope those of you who went to the Avatar Prerelease had a wonderful time. I did too, opened some cool cards (which will be on the site shortly) and did some good trading. The set looks fun and I can't wait to get into some drafts :)
Our next stop is the Auckland Card Market at Barfoot & Thompson Stadium on December 6th. I hope to see many of you there, we are quite excited for it.
