Hi All,
Occasionally you'll see me skip weeks here, often it's because I've been away for the weekend (often workiong), or I'm currently away. Most recently though it's been because I've been having headaches. That almost happened today, but I seem to have recovered enough to get to this point, though I'm still not sure what to write about.
What's on the top of my mind is opinions of the second season of The Promised Neverland and how after reading the manga I feel that the way it was created was a different objective to "cramping it all in", but this isn't grumpy old woman rants about anime blog, this is talking about magic things...
Play booster have been announced this week. I really like this article on it. https://infinite.tcgplayer.com/article/The-Financial%20Impact-of-Play-Boosters/d871fbfa-d040-4a5e-beaa-16982c0f8ca9?utm_source=email-mkt&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=mtg_cassie_10182023&__s=p5v92w8hdk81ktd7nqlt
Specifically it does a good job discussing how this might actually be a really good thing for the game and local game stores rather than the "sky is falling" disaster magic players as a whole often think these sort of announcements are. I recommend giving it a read.
There is one other thing I've been thinking I should mention is the reason behind the name of this blog. Why is it called "Your Bi-Weekly Update" when it's designed to come out weekly and only once each week.
I know this will bother some of you, but the reason is that when I started this blog I really liked the idea of, if I was going to make a long-running blog, having a name that became the name everyone associates with it, while also having a title that makes no sense.
Some people would argue that I definitely don't get OCD when it comes to these sorts of things. I would argue that my OCD dictates this. Having things organized, but in a way that only makes sense to me. Often my trade folders end up the same way.
